7 pins is all it takes: 1 7 9 13 15 19 20 on the 20 pin connector.
As you can see, those little scope probes are very helpful.

Update: I’m not sure that’s quite enough. I can’t get one of the processors to halt, and restaart with just these connections, but another processor works with all 20 connections.
